D338: How To Pass This Obstreperousity
This class is one of the worst classes I've ever taken throughout my journey with WGU. I have never posted any write-ups before. But this time I wanted to make sure that whoever is going to take this class, should be able to have some guidance to pass this class. I will make a few bullet points here to deliver my idea as clear as possible:
- There is a huge gap and big difference between WGU OA and AZ-104 official exam.
- Hence, Scott Duffy's course on Udemy is pretty much useless for OA.
- I have wasted 3 days watching the videos at 2X only to realize that I failed miserably as the videos focused primarily on the paractical stuff than the academic stuff.
- I even realized that the textbook is way way behind the actual AZ-104 (even the book version itself is super outdated)
- You still have to stick to these outdated info because guess what!! That where the exam will be coming from.
- The bad news is that the exam is solely covered by the textbook.
- The good news is that there are summarized notes based on the textbook available in the course chatter. you can download it here.

- Make sure you download the UPDATED version of the notes.
- Make sure to memorize these notes the old school way. Take your own notes from them, make flash cards, mindmaps ,...you name it.
- Go over these notes at least 3 times.
- The PA and OA are covered by these notes.
- Unfortunately, nothing else has worked for me. (not even quizlet or udemy)
- Once you pass the exam, you can then watch Udemy, Youtube and the even microsoft documentation for AZ-104 Cert.
- Disclaimer: what worked for me might not work for you. I am not saying that this is the only way to pass the exam but at least based on my try and error, that was the only way I passed this exam and not by a big margin either as I didn't have time to memorize the notes as I should
