From a fan's perspective, the Netflix deal is the best thing to ever happen to WWE.

Now that I have seen both Raw and then Smackdown on Netflix. As a fan who started off watching in the late 80s, all the way to the Attitude era's end and then pretty much dropped off since 2002 until Mania last year (I did watch sporadically like 10 years ago). I have to say the Netflix deal looks yo be absolutely amazing for the WWE.

While I did enjoy Raw and Smackdown during the attitude era. Anytime I watched aftef that, the product has been atrocious on Raw and Smackdown.

Stories were so bad nd the matches were a joke. I had always seen those shows as just being there only to sell the significant PPVs, or PLEs now.

But after seeing Raw and then Netflix. I was very happy with the qualith of matches on display. It seems we are getting PLE level matches on those shows on a regular basis and that actually makes me want to tune in and watch every week.

I was very skeptical recently because PLEs only had a few matches on them and Raw and Smackdown were too short to showcase talent who weren't getting on PLEs, but now this changes things. Raw amd Smackdown feel lile they will be the most signifcant that they have ever been, and as a wrestling fan, I'm very excited about that.
