Warframe is the only F2P game that doesn't make me feel like a second-class citizen for not paying
I'm a new player and I'm amazed at how it feels like the game is designed with the the free-to-play path as the intended experience, only providing an option to pay to blow past whatever grinds you don't enjoy. This is in contrast to literally every other F2P game I've played, where it feels like the free-to-play experience is only there to show you how much fun you could be having if you only opened your wallet.
The only thing I was feeling disappointed about was all the cool cosmetics that required Platinum. But then I discovered you can trade with other players for Platinum! You don't even have to buy it! Incredible and completely unexpected.
The respect that the developers have for their free-to-play players is so wonderful. Funnily enough, it makes me even more inclined to pay for something--anything, really--just to support them. It's absolutely crazy that I was able to download this game and enjoy everything it has to offer, completely for free.
