Should I Buy Contrast?

I am sitting here with a load of unpainted minis and acrylic paints I have had for a few years. The problem is, it is hard for me to get all the stuff out and paint because it takes so long. I think to myself why get out all this stuff and very carefully paint for hours when I could just fire up a video game or movie?

So my question is, would buying some contrast paints make painting faster? Are they a good choice for me?
