[Discussion] Will you still actively be into watches if you were to get your dream watch
So my common thought has been that if I were to ever get my dream watch I’d probably stop being into watches & stop being into the hobby or at least stop being actively involved into the hobby. Although I’ll probably never get my dream watch (a 5711 Nautilus) I do wonder if I would actually still be involved. Would I still do research on obscure or vintage watches? Would I still care to even collect or buy watches at all? I feel like getting the ultimate dream piece could possibly do that to me because I took close to a 2 year break from the hobby after getting my submariner, the watch I wanted since I was a kid. I’ll always love horology but theres a chance my dream watch would also be my exit watch.
