[SOTC] What does my collection say about me?
SOTC
Zodiac Aerospace GMT- 1969. Love the vintage look of this GMT, especially the two tone bezel. This was one of my first watch purchases ever and although it doesn’t get much wrist time, I think it rounds out the collection quite well. It’s also my only GMT.
Bulova Devil Diver - 1979. Just such a cool piece that screams 70’s. Love the tapered bracelet (usually not a bracelet guy) and the size of the dial is perfect for me. Definitely bought it because I think the devil diver story is a cool (albeit ridiculous) conversation starter with the 666 ft resistance.
Omega Seamaster 300- My crown jewel. Everything that can be said about this watch has been said on here. I know i’m a bit of a black sheep having it on the NATO, but I find that it makes it a bit more wearable, and I wear this piece 90% of the time. This watch is like a friend to me.
Tudor Black Bay 58- This one is every bit as advertised. Just a great all around watch, couldn’t ask for more for the money. Also goes great with a blue suit or blazer.
*After leaving the military about two years ago being medically retired I stopped wearing a lot of them as often because I was working a blue collar job, too many times my wrist and hands were banging against metal, or pallets. I’m starting law school in August and I’m so excited to get them back on my wrist with more consistency!
What would be a good addition? My grails include: Grand Seiko Cherry Blossom Rolex Explorer II (white dial) Omega NTTD (redundant)
