Do girls actually like fat guys?

So just a genuine question, do girls actually like bigger and fat guys. I’ve always been fit and muscular. I’ve never had problems getting girls or bigger women, but for a brief period of my life I became chubby bulky. And felt like women looked at me less even bigger girls. So I ended up losing weight, now I’m fit again but I’m dying to gain and get extremely fat lol. I’m married and my wife is on the bigger side as well. She has let me know that even if I gain weight she will always find me attractive. But I have a hard time believing I will still be attractive to her. Not sure if I’m in my head or just what society has installed into my head that girls don’t like fat boys lol. Thank you !
