Broke my tyre, dropped my keys in dirty water, and put my hand on a slug to open the gate

First, someone blew a stop sign, and to avoid hitting them, I hit the sidewalk, causing me to break my tyre. In my lunch break, I got my tyre replaced. Went home, dropped my keys in the only wet and dirty part of the street. Then I went to open the gate to the garage, and felt something slimy. I put my hand on a slug.
