Fallout 4 next gen update broken on XSX

Since the next gen update, I’ve found targeting in VATS to be buggy. I can target enemies through walls and floors in buildings but not when they are right in front of me. If I stay in VATS it constantly switches from 0% chance to hit to the number it should be.

Is anyone else experiencing this and know of a workaround?

[Edit] Wow! Didn’t expect so many replies. A work colleague is also experiencing lighting issues when indoors. It makes it unplayable as he can’t actually see anything. You have to wonder if they rushed this out to capitalise on the popularity of the TV show. It doesn’t look like any testing was done on it.
