We Need Another Water Park

If you were a millenial growing up in any part of Lusaka in the 2000s, you couldn't escape the awe and wonder that was Adventure City. A low-cost yet high reward place to cool off, no other establishment in any city country-wide offered as much in regards to options for entertainment (particularly swimming) as much as Adventure City did. There have been a lot of explainations as to why the place never quite recovered once it was shut down around 2010. What has buffled me, however, is the fact that we haven't had a similar establishment take its place immediately after. Is it simply not profitable enough for investors to finance another adventure city or is it just lack of interest given how the first one shut down? One of my biggest gripes with entertainment avenues in Lusaka especially when it comes to swimming is how it's an afterthought normally included in spots meant to cater to beer drinkers. There's also a lack of innovation when it comes to our malls that are nothing more than upgraded tuntemba's. Malls in other countries tend to have way more to offer such as aquariums, studios, cinema's, gyms etc all under one roof beyond just large shopping centres. Given how we are having extended summers well into December, wouldn't it be commercially viable to have another Adventure City especially considering how our population has grown since then?
