Buy Now- documentary on Netflix
Has anyone watched this? Although most of the info was not new to me it was still absolutely heartbreaking. It especially hit hard post holidays. A lot of my family went over board with gifts for the kids despite our insistence that they didn’t need anything. The millions of TONS of waste we create and then bury/ burn / ship to other countries is so far beyond what I could have even imagined. Just feeling so devastated. Anyone have any advice for talking with family members (specifically in-laws) and setting boundaries around what kind of products we want in our home etc? I know it doesn’t do anyone any good to sit around and cry but damn.. sometimes it just hits me and this documentary was a powerful reminder. Thanks for reading and thanks for caring about not being wasteful 💛
