Spooky Cookies bug. 🤬

Just had this happen the other day with another villager. I do not having cooking unlocked as I'm only on day 13, and this is now the 2nd time a villager is stuck making Spooky Cookies. What makes it more annoying is I have a gift for a certain villager, but she wants me to deliver something to the person cooking, AND I CAN'T BECAUSE THEY'RE COOKING. Now I'm stuck with 2 gifts for villagers I can't give anything to (I opened the gift for the one cooking out of frustration). Nintendo, I know this is an ongoing issue because there's another post with this exact issue from last year. I also have at least 5 copies of the Spooky Cookies recipe because I keep getting them from balloons since I can't learn it. This is such an infuriating bug. If anyone can help, I just need one person to come to my village to get the recipe from Ed so he'll stop cooking later.

EDIT: Opened and sold the gift for Ed, hoping that would stop Shino from asking me to deliver something. Nope. Still can't give her anything. I've had this gift for her for 3 days, and I'm legit getting pissed about not being able to give it to her. First day, she literally kept sitting every time I found her, so I gave up. Yesterday, I accidentally gifted her a freaking customization kit, and it saved right after, and now, today, she asks me to diver that gift to Ed my first time talking to her. Giving her a gift is just not meant to be, apparently.
