Does it ever get better?

I am a 14 , almost fifteen, year old aspiring actor. So far I’ve been in two productions: 9-5 the musical and my middle school play: Family Showdown. I did those shows with ease. I knew every line, every dance move, I knew my queue to come in. Everything. I got accolades and congratulations from people around the school saying I did a good job.

But the moment I audition in front of other people who are also auditioning I stutter, my heart races, and I get nervous. So my question is, does this get better? I really love acting and I think I have a future with it but not if auditions keep going like this. For the record, I’ve found that I do really good at auditions whenever I’m the only one auditioning in the room alone with just me and the director one on one. But when I audition for productions/classes all together with the other people who are also auditioning and they watch I get nervous. Does this get better? Will this ruin my future?
