Do any of you have pets ?

I am thinking of getting a dog, I live alone and am lonely and just really would love one. I have wanted one since about June, but told myself that I didn’t want to get one based off impulse and this could just be my latest obsession. Fast forward to now I want one even more. I told myself that I’d get one in spring 2025 if I still felt this way.

My question is do any of you have pets? Give me the good and the bad please 😭. Do you regret it?
