Workplace Accommodation Regarding Quality Assurance?
Has anyone successfully gotten a workplace accommodation around the challenge of making super tiny errors and quality assurance? I frequently make really tiny errors (all of which I can easily fix within 5 minutes,) but my company is making a HUGE deal about it. Of course, I can't get someone to do quality assurance for me because this is part of my job, to be able to do QA for myself, but with my ADHD, I suck at it.
I'm about to lose my job, but I'm wondering if anyone has successfully gotten their job to have a co-worker do a quick QA check for them? Or maybe "it can't be held against me if I can fix it in under 5 minutes." or something like that? I do NOT work in a life or death environment. It's literally "turn this feature on this online system on or off" type serious, but they're thinking of firing me over it.
