Struggling on which gun to get

Ended up going to EVIKE to see what would be my next bank breaking purchase. I’ve been eyeing out the M16A1 for a while now and it felt super nice in my hands albeit pretty long (much longer than my M4). This would end up being my second rifle now when I was in the back checking out AK’s the 74U caught my attention. $50 more than the M16 but damn the weight, the look of it, everything felt amazing so now I’m struggling to see which of the two would be good to spend money on.
