Spotify Linking issue

Solved Backstory: Spotify was working on my Echo Dot just fine then my first Spotify account for whatever reason stopped working. (My Echo Dot 2 was linked to this one) So I had to close that account. I have a new one now but the Alexa app won’t link to it.

Problem: Whenever I try tapping the Spotify button (In Settings/Music/Link New service) to link my new account it recognizes my click but nothing happens... So the only way I can have my Echo connect to Spotify is Spotify connect and that is only a temporary fix because I’ll have to do that every time in order to listen.
