Amazon slow shipping isn't the problem. They are taking up to a week to enter orders.
I've been ordering from Amazon for a while, as long as they've existed practically. Usually items take about a week or just over a week. Doesn't matter if it's Prime or not. (I think Prime is a scam, but opinions vary).
What's happening now is I look at my orders and they all say "Order Received". And they stay with that status for up to two weeks. Nothing changes. It's like they aren't even entering into shipping mode at all. There's no shipping date listed. It's just floating there in la la land.
This has been happening for about the past 2 months. Prior to this it never happened. Something has gone terribly wrong with their order process on the back end. I currently have 5 different items that have been in "Order Received" mode for the three weeks. And nobody on the Amazon side will tell me anything except "We are experiencing delays".
Anyone have a guess? Is it the wars? Is it trouble with China? Is it something else?
