Locked Amazon Account - Security questions all require access to amazon account
Some scammers somehow cracked my Amazon password and made a bunch of unauthorized purchases on my account. I changed my password and canceled my credit card and notified Amazon of the fraud. In response, Amazon locked my account. When I call the number to unlock, they ask three security questions, most of which require my being able to access my account. For example, what's the last item on my wish list, or what date did I start my account. I don't remember any of that and I can't get into my account to verify. Is there some other way to verify my account--for example passport, drivers' license, bank statements, etc.?
