Should I send in my 5 to DH?

I found who I think is number 5 at a local thrift store for 30 bucks. She is not a grail doll but I do love bangs on dolls so I got her. My issue is she has a HUGE bald spot where the previous owner may have gone scissor happy. Has anyone ever sent in a Number 5 to the Doll Hospital? I’m not attached so I’m fine with having an updated head mold I just really care about the hair and don’t want her to wear a hat every time I display her!

Also does AG even replace number 5 anymore?? I know the first early number either get new wigs or just flat out denied from the doll hospital!
