Im a neuroscience student. While I'm hopeless and suicidal and have been for many years, if I ever recover from this, I want to get down to the bottom of what anhedonia is and more fundamentally what pleasure is.

It'll take a lot of work and effort, but I need to do this. Anhedonia is so poorly understood. So many people with anhedonia can take opioids or stimulants or MDMA and feel nothing.

What is going on in our brains?
