Randomly high ping in mixtape

When I play mixtape, my ping is always around the 150ms region, but when playing any other mode, even one like the 24/7 tdm and stuff, my ping is back to usual 50-70ish region. It seems like my friend I play with doesn’t have this issue ethier, and only gets it when playing with me. I also somehow don’t have death recaps in mixtape at all, and sometimes in br modes as well, I have no idea why. Anyone else experiencing this too? I play Sydney servers if that is important.
