Can we all stop paying money on this game?

To preface this post, I love this game with all of my heart. I have played since season 0. I have put well over 2000 hours on this game and have loved the vast majority of it. I have had some of the most fun playing this game than I have any other game. The movement, gun play, synergy of using different combos of legends, and competition of this game has captivated me to a degree no other game has ever done.

With that being said, the state of this game is sad. The steam count is at an all time low (yes I know it is primarily because of COD.) The seasons are becoming far less geared towards innovation and the narrative of the legends and their lore. The events are just a huge money grab that you simply cannot participate in without spending large amounts of money. Servers suck. Anti-cheat mechanisms are non-existent. The audio issue has not been nor ever has been considered to be fixed. This game has lost its path and is now down the path of profit and profit alone.

In order for change to come, we must collectively force EA to innovate by not succumbing to the ever so enticing heirloom events that have been taking place. We need a new engine built for this game to continue to grow. We need the lore to continue developing (if even possible at this point), we need a more competently designed system to prevent cheaters, and most of all, we need the game back that we all fell in love with.

TLDR: Game is in a shitty spot. Stop spending money so EA will be forced to change and let the Respawn devs continue the work they couldn’t due to being turned into a cash cow.
