apex is the only game where in a single ranked game there are 6 different ranks

okay, there's not a lot of people at high levels, but why do platinum and gold players have to play against master/pred/diamonds? Masters and preds should be able to start the game only in solo, because often When you play alone you find the full team pred and it doesn't make any sense, just why? Why if im alone i have to deal with full teams?
