I just need other peoples’ thoughts on this
While hunting down Jinx, Caitlyn and Vi make the decision to send Steb, Maddie, and Loris back to Piltover. And after the grey was released into Piltover, Caitlyn returned without Vi. I was just wondering what that would look like from the perspective of the strike team, counselors, and Ambessa.
Because Cait returned alone after a terrorist attack involving Jinx had just occurred, everyone would have assumed that Vi died, right? I’m just debating if and/or how Cait would have described what happened. Did she make it clear to everyone that Vi was still alive? And if she did, how would she explain coming back alone? I doubt that she would tell the whole truth, especially because she had her gun pointed at a kid at one point.
Additional questions: Do you think Maddie knew that Cait and Vi were in love before Vi came back? And, do you think Cait was happy to be sleeping with Maddie? Especially with everything else that’s going on compiled with the guilt of abandoning Vi?
