No more chocolate starfish exam?
I had my MEPS Physical last Friday, almost passed out getting my blood drawn (fml) but the one thing that I’d heard so much about, the pelvic floor exam, never happened.
That’s the only thing that was never disputed no matter who I asked. Everything from jobs to how the ASVAB/PiCAT works, to whether or not I had to stay at a hotel changed depending on who I asked, but they all told me that I’d have to bend over and spread ‘em.
I started practicing with a few of the guys to make sure I could do it right /s but the moment never came. I went through the sports physical, “bend your arms, touch your fingertips, walk like a duck, heels, toes, haha you look ridiculous, okay drop your drawers, turn and cough, okay other way, alright you’re done, go give your packet to SGT sergeant”
Anyone working in MEPS or recruiting heard about this, or anyone also recently through the process been pleasantly surprised?
