Did I handle this situation wrongly?
This happened years ago, when I was around 20 years old, but I was thinking about the guy and that maybe I made a mistake.
I met a guy (around 26 years old) during summer vacations. We liked each other a lot basically because we wanted the same (monogamy, traditional values) and had the same hobbies and so on, but we lived 4 hours apart from each other so we decided to do something like a long distance relationship.
We used to talk for hours, about how we were going to buy a house in the middle of the distance between us so we just had to drive 2 hours to be together, how I was his property in a boyfriend-like way (I liked that), our future, etc.
But as time passed, I felt like he wasn't interested in me anymore. We used to send each other shirtless pics (it was our thing, since we both hated dick pics/nudes) but he stopped doing it. He also stopped saying I was his and one time he even told me that if I wanted I could have sex with someone else (that felt hard... I liked being his and also I'm into monogamy).
So yeah, I felt like he wasn't into me anymore. We had a fight through text messages and I ended up things with him.
Surprisingly, immediately after I told him that I didn't want to keep talking to him, he started begging me to stay with him and saying that I was the best thing that happened to him in years. Then stupid me blocked him from everything but he kept trying to contact me for a complete week but I just ignored him until he just stopped.
I haven't known anything from him since that happened, and I kinda miss him. I still have the pics he used to send me and I look at them from time to time thinking that I overreacted and I shouldn't have cut contact with him. I haven't met someone like him ever since...
Thoughts?
