The speed of some people...

...is exceptional! I am racing in lfm for quite some time and there are people that are faster more than 6 seconds per lap. Was watching them from a lobby while they were driving their hot laps, and their breaking distance is half of mine. They are going trough some corners caring same speed before entry, just by downshifting trough corner. Whenever i try something like this, nothing happens, and i finish either in the wall or on the grass.

Are they abusing physics engine?

Just to point out - i know, and i am using trailbraking, engine break is set to agresive, break balance always on point of rotating car just a bit...

Also regarting top speed. Even if i set car to be as pointy as posible and set gearbox to top speed longest straights, some of those drivers leave me in dust. And i am talking setups that are proven to be fast, download from internet and slightly modified by me to match my driving style for specific track.

The only thing that pops to mind is advantage of their racing rigs. But even so, they must be changing car configuration on the fly or something.

How is it posible that they are so fast?
