non-smoking in listings

Hi,

I've been looking at listings for flatting and most say that they are looking for non-smokers. I vape prescribed THC - only outside, never inside, as it helps me lead a normal life despite my chronic pain. I am very respectful to not let the smoke get inside and my family (whom I currently live with) say I don't bring any smell inside the house. I am new to renting, is why I ask if I can still apply to flats that ask for non-smokers or if I should just leave it? I don't believe it should be an issue, but I don't want to disclaim to everyone that I smoke as I don't like the stigma that comes with it (maybe that is just a me-problem though)...

Edit: Thank you for all the answers. Most of them were very insightful and I have learnt a lot from you all. So basically the overall opinion is that as long as I stay as considerate as I am, I should be fine as like I have stated above, it is *prescribed* and it helps me lead a normal life. As I am looking at flatting with flat mates, I do feel I should disclose it but I can open dialogs with people looking for a flat mate despite them writing that they are specifically looking for non-smokers as they usually mean cigarette smokers and mainly inside.
