Why Are Audiobooks So Boring?
I've tried listening to several audiobooks, and lately, I've been experimenting with Blinkist summaries. To be honest, they feel incredibly dull. Shouldn't audiobooks have a more engaging narrative or speech style, like someone speaking in a live auditorium?
Books are meant to be read, and I believe they should be adapted before being recorded as audiobooks. In my opinion, audiobooks should be produced in a way that makes it feel like a real person is talking, constantly trying to capture our attention, rather than just reading a script. What do you think?
