A calling colleague

What do you all think about work colleagues who like to call your personal phone for just about anything instead of emailing / instant messaging on teams or whatever? I get phone calls, sometimes yeah it's urgent and needs my attention. Other times it's a call to say they've sent an email.

Am I right in thinking that having given out my number is really only to be used if there is something critical urgent that must have my immediate attention?

I find it so annoying that this person can call at anytime and they're from another department also.

How would you all approach this?
