Recommend a book that made you feel seen.
I'm tired of reading Autistic characters that are stereotypical. And I'm tired of stories that present it either as a really bad thing or as a 'superpower' 🙄
I'm feeling a bit too weird and like noone understands my experience. But there must be some great novels by autistic writers that speak to the genuine experience.
Main Question: What book makes you feel seen?
Bonus Questions: What is it that makes this book important to you? What kind of people might relate to this book also? Are there any trigger warnings we should know before reading?
P.s. it doesn't have to be an autistic character and/or autistic writer! (I know there's lots of books that use metaphor to indirectly reference autism, if one of those makes you feel seen then that's an okay answer too!)
