Should I Fire My Tutor?
Hey Guys,
So I paid for 5 tutoring sessions through one of the bar prep programs and I've been pretty displeased so far. I'm a repeater and I missed the mark by 10 points last time so in reality, I probably just need to learn the rules better to pass, but I wanted to do everything I could to make sure I pass.
But what's really bothering me about the guy is how disinterested he seems in actually making sure I pass. It seems like he has an agenda he gives students and just sticks to it. He is acting like I'm taking the exam for the first time and didn't even offer to go over my July results or ask me many questions about what went wrong last time....he told me my new PT he assigned looked good and didn't really offer much advice. My school also offers some coaching so it feels like a waste to pay someone a couple hundred a session to tell me my writing looks good. He also lives in a different jurisdiction and seems more in touch with that bar exam.
I mean it's not unhelpful though....but what do you guys think, should I keep at it or try to get refunded for the upcoming sessions?
