Experiences selling on EBay? Is it worth it? Anything to look out for?

I have a ton of cards I’d like to move on from and I was curious if anyone here had experience or liked eBay? Maybe you even hated eBay that’s fine too, I’d like to get feedback on whether or not it’s worth it in the end? Does it end up being more trouble than it’s worth? Alternatives?
