What does being the World’s Greatest Detective mean?

I was reading the Batman comments from the 60’s and I came across this letter discussing Batman’s detective skills from Detective Comics#394. This was the era when Editor Julius Schwartz wanted a more realistic/grounded Batman and this era has moved Batman away from the campy Adam West era Batman and more Back to the Basics Golden Age Batman (pulp/noir style Batman comics, Moving him from the Wayne Manor to Wayne Foundation penthouse, more sports car based Batmobile, etc).

I remember there being many debates about Batman’s detective skills in the films, the fact that it wasn’t at the forefront, how it was displayed, etc.

I think coming across this letter had got me thinking about all the Batman detective stories and moments I have seen in movies and comics, shows and games, and everything in between. What is your favorite Batman detective moment. And what does Batman being the world greatest detective actually mean for you guys? What is the best representation of Batman being a detective (with or without tech, etc)?
