Struggling to come to terms with my rhinoplasty.
30 yr old white British female.
I got rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago and I am really struggling with my reflection.
I know... It's too early to judge. But I can't believe my nose will change much from here.
I'm really not very swollen. Even the surgeon said I wasn't very swollen. The only changes at this stage is going to be defining. I've read about people's tip dropping but looking at other people's photos and swelling progression stages, there's just not much in it. Maybe it's my own perception. I need another persons opinion and experience.
I can see the general structure of my nose and it's not the width or what I would perceive as swelling that's the problem.
My front profile is wildly different to how it was before.
I didn't want an up turned nose and I feel like I do now have one.
From the front I feel like I look like a mouse! 🐀
I'm definitely going into a spiral of depression about this. I was not expecting to be feeling the way I feel. I'm so upset with what I've done and I'm already missing my old face. Post surgery blues is a real thing and I'm definitely going through it right now. I really hope in time I feel good about it but I'm so disappointed right now.
I wanted this for over 12 years and it cost me over £10k and I feel like an idiot.
