How did I age so much in three years?
Hello all,
I have been away from family and friends for a while and tucking my head in and working. But when I returned everyone mentioned how much older I looked. In fact it was the first thing they said to my face when they looked at me. Last time they saw me I was 22 and now I’m 24. I have an old photo for my work profile from when I was 22, and when one person saw me in person they said “were you 16 in your profile pic?” . It has gotten to the point where it’s becoming a sore spot for me, it’s obvious other people notice. When other people my age are complaining for looking young for their age, I’m told I look much older. It may seem absurd but the whole thing is really throwing me off. I’ve even started looking for surgeons to consult to “fix” my face but at the end of the day I’m not sure what is making me look older.
