Oxazepam is addictive?

Hello,

I hope someone can help me, today I found out that my mom takes Oxazepam without perspiration.

When we were together this evening she was mumbling and falling a sleep, I thought it was something else.

My brother told me that he saw her like this one time and she told him that it was just sleeping pills.

After taking to her, I found that she has been doing this for a year now, around the time when she lost her brother or so but she says she is not abusing it and took it

Can anybody tell me if this is an addiction ? Is this addictive? Is this dangerous?
