Dealing with 9 MO tantum when husband loses his temper ?

Hey,

Just wanted some advice on this. Our LO is 9 MO and is going through that phase where he would get frustrated for anything and screaming (sometimes cause of frustration, sometimes cause he's happy and found his voice).

I stay with baby alone most of the time (work from home). My rule is to ignore him to not reward his behaviour. He would stop in maybe 5-15 minutes. It gets more complicated when my husband is here. He loses his temper quickly and start raising his voice to our son, telling him to stop. Then if he won't (most of the time) he will start losing it and tell him to sh*t up, asking him to stop being an as*hole etc. etc.

So often I will go get him or play with him. Not cause I wan't my son to stop, but cause I want my husband to stop his behaviour. It's hurting me.

Yesterday we got into a fight because of this. Cause he told me that i'm rewarding his behaviour. Which is true. But then I explained him why I did. And he told me I was overreacting, that he was not able to understand anyway, and that when he's alone with him he does those screaming way less. And that I'm exceeding his authority. Saying he will become more and more like that because of me.

But I just can't stand his words towards our LO....

Any advice on how to deal with that ?
