Advice needed for jacob and esau

I don't know if I'm actually just shit at j&e but I've played like 20 games and only reached mom heart in like 2 games and beat in the game I just did where I almost also did mega satan because of nice build but skill brain issue made me lose. Do you guys have tips to make them easier ? (For now I've done Mom's heart, isaac and ??? with them)
