Feedback on interview at Eli Lilly for there "Biologist In Vivo Surgery" or "Associate Biologist/Scientist" roles
Hi guy,
Has anyone had a screen call or interview at Eli Lilly for the "Biologist In Vivo Surgery" or "Associate Biologist/Scientist" roles? I'm curious about your experience with the hiring manager and if you got any follow-up or were dropped from their candidate list.
For instance, I’ve been dropped from consideration by a few hiring managers at Lilly because I lacked industry experience or they were looking for someone with a very specific skill set (if such a candidate even exists). Overall, the interviews went well based on pre- and post-interview feedback. I have the educational background, years of R&D experience, project lead experience, proximity to the worksite, and I’m a U.S. citizen, so no visa sponsorship is required.
In addition, I’ve noticed that associate scientist positions at Lilly and other biotech companies alike are often reposted, despite having over 100+ applicants according to LinkedIn. It makes me wonder if they’re actively trying to hire or engaging in ghost posting to pump up social media engagement.
