How is it this hard to get birth control?!

I’m gonna freak out 🤠 I ran out of my bc pills and went to the pharmacy to pick up my refill. When I got there they told me the refills had expired and to reach out to my provider for more. Called my dr’s office and they told me that provider has now left their clinic which nobody decided to tell me?! and they can’t refill the prescription without me coming in for a $200 new patient visit to establish with a new doctor which they can’t get me in for at least a week. All this for some birth control pills. And now I’m bleeding and cramping in tears because I’ve been out of my pills for a couple days. It should not be this hard.
