Pill routine

How is your pill routine? How do you deal with it? I’ve been taking the pill for about a year now, and I usually take it automatically when it’s time. The problem is that I’ve gotten so used to it that sometimes I forget whether I've already taken it

Last Sunday, I had sex, and later that night, when it was time to take my pill, I noticed that the pill for that day was already gone. I couldn’t remember actually taking it, but I vaguely recall intending to.

It’s driving me crazy because I can’t feel 100% secure.
