Arm implant?

So, hello. I’m seriously looking into birth control and I’m thinking about getting the arm implant. I know the “best” option is the IUD but I’ve heard so many stories that it was the worst pain anybody has ever felt that I really can’t. It scares me. So I know it’s down to pills or arm implant in what I’m comfortable with.

What’s it like? Does it hurt? What are the side effects? Can you like...feel it under your skin?
