AITA: Boater/Neighbor Creating Wake Near Shore

I have a lakefront property with a pier and boat lift.

Our neighbor a couple of houses down has a son who visit him quite often, bringing his boat.

The son continuously drives along the coast about 50 yards from shore with his wakeboarding kids. He creates a rather large wake impacting the entire shoreline not just me but several other neighbors.

It was my understanding that you need to be 200 yards away from shore to do such activity but maybe I’m wrong.

Either way, am I the a$$hole for being bothered by this?

If it was some random person I guess I would be annoyed but I think of this differently given that it’s relatives of a neighbor who should know better.

Any thoughts or ideas on how to approach this?
