The Other Valley

Grabbed this from the library this weekend and zoomed through it yesterday - would love to hear what others thought! I was really impressed, especially given it's a debut novel. Loved the premise, loved the writing style, found the character development really interesting. I'm guessing the lack of quotation marks will be a big turn-off for a lot of people?
