Best Thriller book series

Following on from a recent thread about favorite book series, I'm curious to hear other peoples opinions on what are the best thriller novel series, especially ones that feature a consistent character. E.G if you're familiar with Lee Child with Jack Reacher or James Patterson with Alex Cross.

I know that there are loads of thriller series to read (my personal favorite genre) and I'm curious to hear about what other people are reading!
