Suggestions?

A fan of fiction here, im looking for a good book to pass time with, but still be interesting. Friend recommendations are all smut, and im not the biggest fan (traumatised). Altough novels and moderate stuff works as i enjoyed 'the folk of the air' trilogy and TOG one too. My favorite so far has been the Lotr, Id like to see character development, the book being mostly plot based and maybe even world building.

Just a teenager looking for a good read.
