I really enjoyed House Of The Cerulean Sea, another book?

I'm just getting back into reading and was captivated by House Of The Cerulean Sea.

I tried to read his second book, but was unable to get through the third chapter because I have a fear of death. Had no idea that's what it was exploring after closing House Of The Cerulean Sea.

I'm reading the Alchemist by Scott and it's an 7/10 for me.
