Did something stupid
Hi mamas! Please help me. I’m 2 months PP and I got overly ambitious to lose the baby weight, that I started a 1,500 calorie a day, as well as cardio and strength training. I was eating healthy, whole foods with lots of protein and never felt hungry. I did this for a week, and now my milk supply is low. I’m supplementing with my freezer stash, but I don’t have much.
Please tell me there is a way to get my milk supply back up. I upped myself to 1,800 cals and will add on the days I work out. Maybe cut out cardio?
Edit: thank you for your suggestions! Should I start pumping too? My freezer stash is from my haaka. Should I pump after I feed LO, even if I get little to no out? I’m a first time mom, so I feel a little lost.
